You have to stop being so childish and get it in your head that absolutely no one will be as you’d like them to. We’re not babies. Someone else sat in the same seat you’re in. Someone else held the hand you’re holding. Someone else touched him the way you do. You’re not the first. Someone else held his heart before you. Someone else made him feel the happiest before you. Someone else was the one he “loved” before you and was the one he shared his best times with. You’re not the first, and you need to realize that in this day and age, you’ll never be. What matters is that you’re the girl with his heart now. You’re the one that makes him happy. Realize that you’re the one with him now. He can’t take back what he had done. Either you accept it, or live alone.
You can’t believe it? Well you better start. It ruins my day to always hear you ask about people from my past. You know we haven’t talked, so why even ask anything, or even bring anything up? What’s gone is gone. There’s nothing I can do about it. Just let it be.
Dear dad, it’s been seventeen years since, but I believe everything happens for a reason, though I’m yet to find that reason. When I’m done with my life, I’ll meet you up in Heaven. But for now, you’re my guardian angel I just never knew.
